this town is full of hopelessness,
they have nothing left to them.
all they want is to get out.
the depression ate away,
it ate away to nothingness.
the people in this sad little town
wish that there was some hope.

the money is gone,
the jobs are gone.

the people are afraid.
they want their old lives back.
they wish there was something left to this.
